How It All Started
TerraSolitare was born when a small group of runners and hikers in Hong Kong made the switch to barefoot shoes β and never looked back. We noticed something remarkable: fewer injuries, better balance, and a deeper connection to the trails and streets we loved. But finding well-made barefoot shoes that actually looked good? That was another story entirely.
So we set out to build our own. Over three years, we worked closely with orthopaedists, biomechanics researchers, and shoemakers to develop footwear that respects the natural shape and movement of the human foot. Every prototype was tested on city pavements, mountain trails, and everything in between.

We offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. The best way to find your size is to measure your foot from heel to toe while standing on a flat surface. Compare your measurement in centimetres to our EU size chart, which is available on every product page. If you fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. Yes, but we recommend a gradual transition. Start by wearing your TerraSolitare shoes for just 1β2 hours per day during the first week, then gradually increase the duration. Most people are comfortable wearing them full-time within 4β6 weeks. This allows your feet, ankles, and calves to adapt to the natural movement pattern. Listen to your body β a little muscle soreness is normal, but sharp pain is not.
Many of our customers report significant relief from plantar fasciitis and knee pain after transitioning to barefoot shoes. The zero-drop design and wide toe box encourage natural foot mechanics, which can reduce strain on the plantar fascia and improve knee alignment over time. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be modified, but you can still return it under our 30-day return policy.
Most TerraSolitare shoes are machine-washable. Place them in a ShoeWash Bag (available in our accessories section) and wash on a gentle cycle at 30Β°C. Always air-dry your shoes β never use a tumble dryer or direct heat, as this can damage the materials. For water-resistant models, we recommend applying a PFC-free waterproofing spray before the first wet wear to maintain the coating. Regular brushing with a soft brush will keep the uppers looking fresh.

Shipping Policy

TerraSolitare ships from our warehouse in Hong Kong to customers across Europe. We offer two shipping options to suit your needs:
Standard Shipping
Delivery within 5β10 business days. The cost is β¬4.90 per order, or free on all orders over β¬50.
Express Shipping
Delivery within 2β4 business days. The cost is β¬9.90 per order.
Order Processing
Orders placed before 2:00 PM HKT (Hong Kong Time) on business days are processed and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this cut-off or on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Tracking
A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order is dispatched. You can use this number to follow your parcel in real time via the carrier's website.
Customs & Import Duties
As our shipments originate from Hong Kong, your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the product price or shipping cost. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please inform us by sending a clear statement (e.g., by email to info@terrasolitare.com) of your decision to withdraw. You must return the goods within 14 days of informing us. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return shipment. The reimbursement will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to love your TerraSolitare shoes. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, you may return your purchase within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Indoor wear is perfectly fine during the trial period β we understand you need to test them properly. However, shoes that show signs of outdoor wear or soiling cannot be accepted for return.
Return Conditions
- Items must be returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt) is required.
- Care products and accessories (e.g., waterproofing spray, ShoeWash Bags) must be unopened and sealed to qualify for a return.

Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your refund will be processed within 5β7 business days to your original payment method. Please note that your bank may take additional time to reflect the credit on your statement.
Exchanges
Need a different size or colour? We offer free exchanges. Simply contact us and we'll arrange the swap β no additional shipping charges.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email us a photo of the issue within 7 days of delivery. We will send a replacement at no cost or issue a full refund β whichever you prefer.
